Epoxy floors have become popular for their appearance and durability, but polyurea/polyaspartic coatings have become preferred by many professionals. Polyaspartic coatings look similar to epoxy, but are up to four times more durable, making them a great option for your garage.
Polyurea/polyaspartic coatings are extremely durable and can withstand almost any activity. They are scratch, stain, and chemical resistant, making them the perfect choice for home car maintenance and more. Protect your garage floor and prevent further damage with a polyaspartic coating.
Polyaspartic floors are non-porous, making them easy to keep clean. Regular maintenance involves simply sweeping and occasionally mopping. Their non-porous nature also helps them to be moisture-resistant, and a variety of chemical cleaners can be used on the floors if necessary.
Polyurea/polyaspartic floors are fully customizable. Choose from a range of solid colors, textures, patterns, and even metallics and glitters. Customize your garage floors to suit your needs and match your style with polyaspartic floors.
Epoxy floors can take over a week to cure, and cure time is dependent on the weather. Polyaspartic floors cure quickly, allowing you to resume normal activities within 24 hours of installation. Polyurea/polyaspartic coatings cure time is not temperature-dependent and can be easily installed in both cold and warm climates.
Unlike epoxy, which turns yellow and fades in sunlight, polyurea/polyaspartic floors are 100% UV stable. This means that your floors will look as bright and fresh as the day they were installed for years to come.
VOCs, or volatile organic compounds, are fumes that can be released by certain man-made products, including some types of floor coatings. Polyaspartic coatings release little to low VOCs, making them a safe option for both people and pets.
Our garage coating process is simple, minimally interrupting your daily activities.
Prepping your floors is the first step to any flooring project. We will minimally grind your garage floor to allow the polyurea to better adhere to the surface. If you have existing damage, this will need to be fixed before the coating is applied.
After prep work is complete, we will begin installation with a tinted basecoat of your choosing. Decorative elements such as colorful chips will be added after the basecoat. We will then scrape and vacuum your floors to ensure they are smooth and ready for the topcoat.
After installation is complete, we will add a clear UV stable topcoat of polyaspartic polyurea. This will seal and complete your new floors.
