It was a pleasure dealing with Mason he came out, gave us an estimate for the back patio. Explained the procedure to us and what the benefits were and we picked out the color of our choice. Got a call from Danny to set up an appointment to get the work done. Danny called the day before to confirm the appointment was still good to go . Two guys showed up promptly the next morning . Both Cole and Mike were very meticulous and thorough preparing concrete surface. Cleaning and vacuuming along the way I don’t think they left a crumb on the deck they were that thorough. The two guys worked on the job, but they were doing it for themselves double checking things as they went along. Very happy with the outcome and would gladly recommend Ballin concrete to everyone

Can it really be installed in one day?
Yes. Valen Concrete Coatings installs polyurea and polyaspartic floor coatings in a single day for typical residential garages and patios. You can walk on the finished floor in 4 to 6 hours and drive on it within 24 hours. Larger commercial jobs may take 2 to 3 days, but the fast-cure chemistry means we are never on-site for a full week the way traditional epoxy contractors are.
How is this different from epoxy?
Traditional epoxy coatings peel, chip, and yellow under UV within a few years — especially in hot garages and outdoor patios. Our polyurea and polyaspartic systems are chemically bonded to the concrete, four times more flexible than epoxy, and warrantied against peeling and chipping. That is why Valen Concrete Coatings does not offer epoxy at all — we only install the newer, longer-lasting chemistry.
Where can you install these coatings?
Garages, basements, patios, pool decks, walkways, warehouse floors, commercial kitchens, and any other concrete surface. The same polyurea base handles indoor and outdoor, hot and cold. Pool decks get a slip-resistant additive so they stay safe when wet. Valen Concrete Coatings will confirm suitability for your specific surface during the free onsite estimate.
Are your floors slip-resistant?
Yes. Every Valen Concrete Coatings coating system is finished with a broadcast-vinyl-flake surface that gives natural texture and grip. For pool decks, patios, or commercial back-of-house areas, we can add a fine or coarse anti-slip aggregate to raise the coefficient of friction further. Ask your estimator for the slip rating on the specific system you choose.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Valen Concrete Coatings backs every residential floor with a written warranty against peeling, chipping, and delamination. Commercial projects carry a matching multi-year warranty scaled to the project. Ask your estimator for the exact terms of the warranty on the finish system you choose — we hand you a written copy before you sign anything.
